Alicia Hadley is a multimedia specialist, writer, public speaker and philanthropist. She has worked as a freelance graphic designer for over 15 years along side her husband who holds a B.A. in Art and Illustration and Architecture.
As a speaker, Alicia engages her audience with humor and wisdom. Her interactive and thought-provoking approach captivates her listeners. Undoubtedly, Alicia’s professional, yet “down-to-earth,” personality renders an empowering message.
As a journalist, Alicia has garnered success writing for NBCBLK of the acclaimed NBC Universal news company. She has also published several books including “My Simple Book of Goals” and “Get Up and Goal” for youth and teens. Her books help to encourage a conqueror’s mentality and stimulate the drive to achieve success.
Mrs. Hadley understands the importance of serving and the gift in giving to others. She has held supervisory and senior graphic design positions for various non-profit organizations and is the Executive Director of Upward Thrive Academy, Inc. She is also the founder of the annual Maryland “Cupcakes for Christmas”® Toy Drive and serves her local church as the head youth and music ministry leader. Alicia is a wife and mother. In her free time she loves bonding with her family and song writing.
